Abstract:

For the information’s uncertainty and interrelationship in battlefield environment, by combining the theory of intuitionistic fuzzy reasoning (IFR) and cognitive maps (CM), a technique for situation assessment (SA) based on CM and IFR is proposed. Firstly, with the analysis of the properties and vulnerabilities of CM, an intuitionistic fuzzy cognitive maps (IFCM) model based on intuitionistic fuzzy set theory and ordered weighted averaging operator is established. Secondly, the steps of SA based on IFCM is proposed. Finally, an SA example is given to verify the technique. The technique can give a more accurate description of battlefield environment and offers more information and freedom of preference on SA for decision-makers.
