Abstract:
According to the submarine position distribution characteristics and detection capability of the airborne magnetic anomaly detector, an analytic model of anti-submarine call-search probability evaluation on airborne magnetic anomaly detection is derived. Sweep width in the analytic evaluation model is usually tactical setting which cannot exactly describes the effect of submarine magnetic features change on search probability, so an equivalent average sweep width model is proposed. On the basis of establishing an encounter model and a signal detection model of airborne magnetic anomaly detection, the algorithm to solve the equivalent average sweep width model is provided. The effectiveness and credibility of the search probability analytic model based on equivalent average sweep width are validated with Monte Carlo simulation. The search probability is evaluated by classic model and improved model with different target courses and different anti-submarine plane heights. The results show that the improved model is more effective in evaluating the effect of submarine magnetic feature change on search probability.
