Abstract: Based on the classic ADC model and the product breakdown structure (PBS), the PBS-ADC model is proposed to overcome the difficulty of constructing index availability and reliability of the ADC model caused by the shortage of overall test and operation data of equipment in the effectiveness evaluation of unmanned reconnaissance aircraft development. The proposed model is applied in the effectiveness evaluation both for in-use equipment and equipment being developed. The unmanned reconnaissance aircraft is decomposed into the single product system level, and the Q-process theory is employed to accurately calculate the variables A and D in the ADC model. Meanwhile, the search theory and the full probability formula are used to calculate the system capability C. The dynamic relation of the performance of the unmanned reconnaissance aircraft is given with the particular A, D, C variable algorithm, and the effectiveness evaluation of its development phase is realized. Hence, this paper provides the basis for the parameter design of the unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.
