Optimal static configuration of non-equal mass Coulomb formation satellites by PSO

Abstract:

The optimal static configuration of non-equal mass four craft Coulomb formation satellites by particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is studied.As masses, charges and positions of craft in the Coulomb formation satellites are all variables, the dynamic model of the configuration is no-linear.The optimal configuration for Coulomb formations can be solved by the PSO algorithm.The proposed method can be applied to solve the optimal configuration for multi-craft Coulomb formation.The results supply theory for the reconfiguration of multi-craft Coulomb formation.
