Unified modeling method of complex heterogeneous systems for simulation-based acquisition

Abstract:

To improve the levels of the reusability and the combination of models for the problems that there are multi-levels and multi-types of heterogeneity from a large number of legacy models in the group enterprise application of simulation-based acquisition (SBA), the formalism of an unified modeling method of complex heterogeneous system is proposed based on a meta modeling framework (M2F), and the feature of self-consistency for the unified modeling method is derived based on credibility theory. Furthermore, an engineering approach and text specification for the unified modeling method are given. Finally, a case study of the SBA for the large equipment indicates the effectiveness of the proposed unified modeling method.
