Abstract:

The positioning accuracy of pseudolite in near space is closely related with its geometric configuration. In order to improve the positioning accuracy of pseudolite, a set of novel configuration schemes of pseudolite are proposed on the basis of studying existing geometric configuration schemes. First of all, the design schemes are confirmed with six pseudolites network positioning independently based on researching the relationship between the number of pseudolite and geometric dilution of precision (GDOP). Then the influences of altitude and azimuth angle of pseudolite to GDOP are analyzed and the new scheme of six pseudolites in near space airship are designed. Finally, for comparing the performance between the proposed scheme and the existing scheme, the simulation test is made. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme not only increases the range of the position area of users, but also decreases the GDOP and improves the positioning accuracy.
