Abstract: This paper presents a direct adaptive output-feedback fuzzy controller for a class of single input single output unknown non-affine nonlinear systems.A linear error observer is employed to estimate output errors and states,an adaptive controller is designed by using observed errors and state variables.A fuzzy logic system is employed to approximate unknown plant nonlinearity.A supervisory control is introduced to compensate the approximation error and disturbances. The overall adaptive scheme guarantees that all signals involved are bounded and the output of the closed-loop system will asymptotically track the desired output trajectory,Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and performance of the proposed approach.
