Abstract: Based on the theory and imaging performance of super-synthesis radiometers, the near-field Fourier inversion imaging theory of SSR is deduced, and the spatial resolution and sensitivity formula of SSR are presented. The SSR including two antenna elements is designed, and one dimensional imaging experiment of noise point sources is fulfilled using a matched filtering method and Fourier inversion method respectively. The result of experiment shows that Fourier inversion method is correct. Finally,a comparison between SSR and synthetic aperture interferometric radiometer is given.
