Source enumeration for non-circular signals in complicated environment

Abstract: The problem of source enumeration for simultaneous circular and non-circular signals is considered.A novel method is proposed to enumerate the two types of signals by analyzing the structure of the extended covariance matrix,especially the distribution of the eigenvalues,of the array output.Sufficient numerical examples are carried out to verify the robustness of the new algorithm to relative array parameters.
