Abstract:

For the spatial coverage performance of a low earth orbit (LEO) constellation system, the application of the colored Petri net (CPN) model is proposed, and simulation is made to analyze the spatial coverage attribute of constellation to the space target. By the three layers CPN’s modeling and simulation for the LEO satellite constellation system, the logical structure characteristic of the whole constellation, the multisatellite’s dynamical collaborative event operation process and the causal/concurrent timing relationship of operational events are analyzed, and an approach to research the space coverage attributes of the LEO satellite to the space targets with any time, any place and any ballistic is created, to obtain the best operational process of the constellation to any incoming targets.
