Introduction
Target detection is the fundamental function of the radar. As the electromagnetic environment becomes more and more complex, radar target detection faces fierce clutter and severe deliberate interference which submerge the target echo and make radar target detection difficult. Thus, clutter and interference suppression has always been a popular issue in radar detection. This special section is designed to report models and methods for radar detection and interference suppression.
This special section aims to collect the latest original contributions in radar detection and interference suppression with new theory, analysis, models, methods, and applications. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to
1. Clutter characteristics analysis, modeling and simulation,
2. Interference characteristics analysis, modeling and simulation,
3. Radar detection performance prediction,
4. Radar detection methods,
5. Radar clutter suppression,
6. Radar interference suppression,
7. Radar interference identification.
