To deal with disadvantages of the single intrapulse characteristic parameter used at the radar emitter signal (RES) recognition, such as bad universal application and correct rate bottleneck, a method combining several characteristics is proposed. With the work of discussing and analyzing the characteristics combination way and its recognition performance, the conception of advantage combination is defined. And based on this, the method of constructing the characteristics parameter set is researched. Finally, according to timecost analysis of the characteristics parameter set, the two typical sets, efficiency set and accuracy set, are proposed, which could supply the decisionmaking foundation to RES recognition at different situations.
